Having worked in several different industries in the public, private and educational sector for over 30 years, health and safety has been experienced in many different guises - some good, some less so.

Health and safety was often seen and promoted as a nuisance part of the business, with lots of paperwork and procedures that were impractical, particularly for small and medium sized businesses who felt there was little apparent return on the time and expenditure involved.

As someone who genuinely likes health and safety, FKR Consultancy was set up to offer uncomplicated health and safety solutions that work with the organisation, promoting health and safety as a business benefit that can help achieve financial targets and offer a great deal more.
